How Was Your OPP Experience This Year?
Any chance you have some comments for us? Compliments? Complaints? Suggestions? It's that time of year, and we're here to hear you. Please fill out this end of year survey when you get the chance. Your feedback is extremely valuable. All feedback will be looked over by the board as we assess what to work on for next year.
Will it guarantee that you get that fancy sauna and hot tub that you want to see added to the pool this offseason? Sadly, no, no it will not Bob--so stop asking! But, what it will do, is allow us to consider the changes and improvements that we can implement to make next year's experience even better than this year's.
So if you have a chance, please, let us know your thoughts about OPP!

One More Week Added for Guard Gift Contributions--And We're Throwing Them a Reception!
Due to some missed communication between our board members, we had to push back the planned thank you reception for Ricardo and Denroy. But this error is great news for all of you. Instead of just hosting a get together with these two lifeguards and the board, we're opening up the reception to all members. We'll hold it from 6:00 to 7:00 at the pool on Monday, 10/21. If you would like to attend, please RSVP here. In the RSVP, please indicate the number of people in your group that plan to attend.
And, since the event won't be until next week, we have reopened the opportunity to contribute to the thank you gift for a few more days. This gift will be given to them during the reception. This is to thank them for another season of hard work and vigilance as they continue to keep our swimmers safe every day. If you still want to pitch in, please Venmo Sara Alm (@SaraAlm) your donation (last four digits, 7256). Please mention "OPP Guard Thank You" in the subject line when you send the contribution. We are suggesting donations around $25 to $30, but feel free to give whatever you feel comfortable giving. |

Clean Up Date/Time Is Set!
We have the cleanup day for OPP all planned now. The event will be on Sunday, 10/27, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
Hopefully the event won't take long, but to preserve a lot of the pool equipment, this clean up is critical. It also helps us make the start of next season go much smoother.
On that day, we have a list of things that we need to accomplish. Once they are done, we'll eat, drink, chat, and say our last goodbyes to OPP for the season. Please do come if you're free!

WE'RE A GO FOR FUN ON FRIDAY, 10/25!!!
Celebrate the pool closing with a spooky party! We’ll have Halloween crafts, pizza, and s’mores to roast, all while watching a Halloween movie on the big screen (vote for the movie through the link below).
Costumes and cozy blankets for the movie are encouraged!
