Summer Is Here!
With everyone officially out of school for the summer, the pool has gotten busy. The camps are full, lessons and classes are packed, lap swimming is hard to come by, and families are carving out spots to enjoy full days at the pool. With new WiFi and a great menu at the cafe, OPP has been busier this year than any of our board members can remember. Be sure to keep up the good vibes by giving a hello to your lifeguards, and being as considerate as we can be to our fellow OPP members while we settle into our new routines. Oh, and enjoy the sun!

Practice Updates
We'll have full practices next week, with dry land practices starting too. 9 and ups are going to be focusing on their starts and turns and 8 and
unders will be working on starts and streamlines with their strokes.
As many of you might have noticed, we're still trying to get everyone back into the groove of swimming during team practices. This means the strokes and focus will still be fairly limited again next week. We'll try to provide more details about daily topics in the following weeks as the dust settles.
Supplemental Practices Start Next Week
In addition to adding to the available 1-on-1 lessons and age specific practices, we'll be starting our 4 PM swim clinics next week. All swim team members are welcome to register for the Tuesday/Friday clinics on TeamUnify. Only those who can swim an IM in 1:25 or less (so, Summer Johnston, some of our 11/12's, and most of our older swim team members) can register for the Monday/Thursday clinic. If you plan to attend these, don't forget to register!

Questions or Need Help: We Have an Eldad for That!
We've already met him in a previous newsletter, but we wanted to let everyone know that Eldad, the pool manager, now has set hours where he will guarantee being at the pool. His "office hours" for the summer are as follows.
Mondays: 8:30 - 11:30 AM and 5:00 - 6:00 PM.
Tuesdays: 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM and 5:00 - 6:00 PM.
Wednesdays: 8:30 - 11:30 AM and during home swim meets.
Thursdays-Sundays: By appointment
Eldad is here to help with swim lesson details, swim safety tests, pool concerns, general questions, policy clarification, member suggestions, and anything else you might want to discuss with him. Feel free to email him at manager@orindaparkpool.org, or call him at 415-515-4298.
